You have already given the fix that I have seen and had to perform myself. Its working for me. The likely reason was apparently due to the DNE LightWeight Filter network client not being properly installed by the Cisco Systems VPN installer. Here's a sample of the output you will see: Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.10586] (c) 2016 Microsoft Corporation.

I just auto upgraded from 8.1 on a Surface and I had to do most of the steps including fixing registry and installing Cisco using .msi but it works beautifully now!THANK And if so, can it be uninstalled?
