Also, what kind of video port (VGA, DVI, HDMI) are you using? I specifically mentioned that I don't remember which one is the highest setting. I've also encountered the scaling problem a few driver releases back.

  • Crysis wasn't displaying any resolutions past 720p or so.
  • Does Crysis simply not give you the option (resolution not listed)?
  • I have a GTX 560 Ti which would be slotted between a 6870 and a 6950.
  • Using DVI and VGA allowed Crysis to do 1080p.
  • From my own experience with the 5770, Crytek games (Crysis, Warhead, and Crysis 2) were finicky with 1080p especially when using HDMI.
  • By the way, its the first time in my life I'm able to run games at high settings.
