This machine has been set to login with CTRL-ALT-DEL. This has got me baffled. Once I am in, I can run ctrl-alt-delete and it works fine. check over here Nothing I do has any effect.

Built in keyboard hardware was checked. Make Google your friend too. Have you had any other symptoms that might indicate a trojan or spyware or virus? Just tried to use SFC, but unfortunately SFC is not a command that you can use from the restore utility.

User can no longer login because pressing CNTL-ALT-DEL does not bring up the login screen. The machine went into standby mode, so on starting it up this morning I was presented with the Locked screen as usual.
