Otherwise, use some lighter lubricant on the door tracks, and/or get out of the car and help the door go up with your hands. If there is any built up stiff grease on it or if there are moving metal parts that are ungreased then clean and grease it (depends on what kind it is).If Most garage door openers have a trip in case their is too much resistance as it is closing. The only thing I can do is watch each time it goes down, and when it stops to go back up I immediatly press the button again. Probably not the answer your looking for, but it's alot cheaper than heating my garage, and I know when it warms up the problem will be gone. Is it posslibe you created more issues by moving the sensors around?

I noticed that if I heat the sensor that had the dim indicator light with a hair drier, it worked perfectly. One is 470uf at 16 volts.
