In VS-2010, VS-2008, VS-2005, and I'm sure older versions, the scope for Find in Files dialog was always different than the scope for the Find dialog. The window came out! The find and replace window had moved out of my display screen.
In Visual Studio 11 ... but this (Clicking on Windows->Reset Window Layout) is the simplest and efeective one. Did the job perfectly. But I moved my mouse along the left edge of the monitor slowly, at one point,the cursor changed into a resize two ended arrow shap.
